When Does Unethical Become Unacceptable?

The Closer” on TNT has to be the most annoying series on TV but I love it and it’s a never-miss for me. Kyra Sedgwick has long been one of my favorite actresses and I was so happy that she decided to do a TV series. When it first aired, I was afraid it would be too heavy on crime/drama but it has been a clever mix of drama along with a lot of light touches which keeps the show from bogging down into the depths of blackness. Just the individual quirkiness of the large cast is enough to add bits of comedy to each episode. She does, however, stretch a lot of rules and regulations, to say nothing of the truth, in her quest to solve cases so I hope the writers don’t go off the deep end and have her become totally unethical. She’s on the border now of being a total “user” of people, even her loved ones, and there’s a really fine line that could be easily crossed. I’ve seen every episode since the series started and I plan to stay with it as long as there’s some credibility and like-ability in each character.
