I am Emily and I am residing here in the little city of Malaybalay. Malaybalay is one of the two cities located in the province of Bukidnon, Philippines. The other city which is Valencia City is called “The City That Never Sleeps”. On the other hand, Malaybalay City is called “The City in the Forest”. The reason why Malaybalay City is so called “The City in the Forest” is because of so many trees planted almost around in this area. Trees like Gemilina trees, Manguim trees, Mango trees, Marang trees and other fruit trees and specifically Pine trees grow here in Malaybalay. Pine trees are also one of the factors or one of the reasons why Malaybalay area is cold. I am not sure of why is it so. I just knew that areas with growing Pine trees have a cool breeze. There are more or less 30,000 people living in Malaybalay. These people are so friendly, industrious, thoughtful, kind, loving and warm. Try to visit all the wonderful places in Malaybalay and you’ll find out or experience wonders in this area.
