Read All About It

Guitar is my favorite. I have been playing for about 7 years now and have found it to be a wonderful way to relax after work. It also is popular in our culture as a way to stand out from the rest. The most popular video games are ones you play fake guitar with. The instrument has become an icon for American life; almost every generation has had a guitar hero since the 1950’s. With technology guitars have changed over time, Roland makes a synth that turns a guitar into a violin or even a piano. It is the best way to introduce kids into music with something they want to play. I think it is what has kept music alive and relevant the past 20 years when music programs have been cut out of most schools.

I did the usual things got the kids up and dressed and off to school and to daycare every morning by 7:30. I went out on a few service calls with my husband one of which lasted all day. On Thursday I decided to go to one of the hotels that kept having an ad in the newspaper for a Night Auditor I thought for sure they had filled the position since it had been in the newspaper for 2 weeks and the paper usually requires an ad to be run for 2 weeks. Much to my surprise I went in and the position was still open. I waited a bit for the manager and I interviewed with her and the assistant and I was told I would know by Monday if they were going to hire me or not there were 3 others besides me but my application was going to the top. I left there and went on a service call with my husband and I checked my phone and I had a missed call from the hotel they were calling me to offer me the job. I start tonight and I will be working 3-4 nights a week. It’s much better than Wal-Mart that my husband still thinks I should work both jobs. I think not.

Animal House is a movie that you can and should watch over and over. There are certain parts that I can recite word for word. However this is not a movie I would want to watch with my 10 year old. It would cause too many questions. Some people might find this movie offensive. It does have some bad language and some sexual content; however there are no explicit sex scenes. I first saw this movie in the 80’s while in college and I guess it brings me back to those times. So this would be a movie that many 40 to 50 year olds will want to watch over and over again! John Belushi was the star of this movie. There are many funny scenes but my favorite is when he is trying to stir up the emotions of his fraternity. He says “Did we give up when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?”….which is totally wrong but funny in the context of the movie? There is another scene where he acts like a zit…all I’ll say is that mashed potatoes play a part in that scene.

My favorite football team is Chelsea London, one of the best teams in Barclays premier league. Their training ground is at Cobham in Surrey but sessions are not open to the general public. Special open days are organized at Stamford Bridge when fans can see the team train. The stadium’s capacity is 41841 seats on which you can come to see a match. Their is coach is currently Carlo Ancelotti, and he’s from my opinion a genius because his team wins very frequently in their own country’s league and if they get at least a 5th place they will in go in UEFA Champions League, one of the most respected championships in the world. But surprisingly they haven’t won this championship until now. My favorite player is Didier Drogba, a black man whit an excellent physical condition. His nationality is Ivorian and his position in the team squad is striker.
